The natives of Aberdeen are no strangers to adverse weather conditions. Gale force winds in spring? No problem. Rain of biblical proportions in summer? Likewise. In 1978 however, a tornado struck The Granite City with such force its impact reverberated throughout the whole of Scottish football for the best part of a decade.
